Starbucks Berries Cheese Mooncake

This is the first time I purchased mooncake. I’m not a fan, maybe because the thought of a whole egg yolk in the middle of a dense cake that’s been sitting out for god knows how long, is kinda gross.

The packaging was attractive and the barrista assured me there are no egg yolks in these mooncakes. The price was right too, so I got a box of two to share with the gang.

The Berries Cheese flavor was the best of the two. Slight sweetness with a hint of berries. Not so much on the cheese. Everyone liked it, but my sweet tooth didn’t.

This is why there are more Starbucks coffee shops

Jossette tipped me off that our favorite coffee shop downtown had an accidental run-in with a car, which slammed it’s way through the western side of the building. Clear into the Starbucks lobby.

Thankfully, no one was injured and i think the elderly couple behind the wheel were alright too.
