I used to work for a dotcom, back in the days when that was something to be proud of (yes, I had an Aeron chair for awhile). Anyway, there was an espresso machine in the staff lounge. Probably just an attempt by the management to get us to stay in and work longer hours but who cares – we loved our espresso machine regardless. One day though, our beloved machine developed problems, and the next day it had disappeared…
