I tried pulling a few shots of the espresso blend from Club Espresso.
Tart and acidic with a rich chocolatey aftertaste. Seemed too bright/sharp though, probably needed to rest longer? (roast date ~48hrs prior).
Then again, even in their shop sweetness wasn’t really the dominant flavor, it is kind of a very dark chocolate + apricot blend.
Whatever, fun learning experience!
