Fragile. Broke it just washing it with my fingers. And I don’t exactly have big, meat-hook hands. Normals hands, broken cup.

It’s been about a little over a month since I purchased a sizable quantity of these glass for home everyday use (assorted sizes, 24 count total), and two glasses have spontaneously cracked on us. Other than using them for everyday-use, we have been very careful with them – they’ve been washed with a soft sponge, we have a designated space in the cabinet to store them (not stacked), etc. These glasses are just not cut out for everyday use. We have been using the glasses to drink warm (hot chocolate) and cold drinks (iced beverage). Both broken glasses spontaneously cracked at the bottom while it was sitting on the desk holding a drink. At first, I thought someone had accidentally slammed it, but I actually witnessed the spontaneous cracking when the second glass broke.
I am very disappointed with the functionality of the product. I’m a sucker for good designs, but I expect a reasonable level of durability. These glasses have been incredibly sub standard – my cheap ikea glasses I bought for $5/dozen have fared better. Maybe these glasses are meant to be put away in some display case, only to be used for special occasions… but what’s the point of buying glasses if you are not going to use them?

These are awesome for espresso, though _one_ negative is that because they’re so light, the vibrations from our pump-driven espresso machine make them shimmy around like those old football-player game tables: “VVVVVVVRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!”
So, I just hold them while the esprosso’s pumping out. No sweat, and like I said, it’s great espresso that’s kept hot.
Remember that they have thin walls, so treat them very gently.

We were able to use these one week. At the end of the week I was hand-washing the cups after making coffee, and one glanced against the edge of the sink and shattered. I was not washing in a reckless or overly-vigorous manner. I was so disappointed – what a waste of money. :( The next week my husband picked up 2 MUCH sturdier glasses from Starbucks for half the price and no delivery wait. These Bodum glasses are elegant but not practical for daily use. :(

I love these glasses. They work as advertised. My espresso’s never tasted so good, now that they stay hot, longer. Additionally I havent burned my hand once since using these glasses.
As previous reviewer has mentioned, please be careful with these glasses if you attempt to wash these in the dish washer.
The glasses are so light, that jets of water coming from the dishwasher are likely to launch the glass out all over the place while the wash cycle is on.
All in all great purchase. Worth every penny. For espresso lovers a must!!!!!

Excellent coffee product. Bought for my espresso maker but also use in my drip coffee maker and is great either way.

Lavazza is a great Italian brand name and the Crema e Gusto blend is a fairly new introduction to the Lavazza catalog. I first tried the Crema e Gusto in Europe and quickly became addicted! I packed my suitcase full when I came home and it was worth the effort. All of the Lavazza blends are excellent, but this blend is particularly special- it is very smooth and rich with virtually no bitterness at all. I brew it in a stove-top espresso maker and it’s absolutely perfect every time.

One taste was all it took for me. I tried Lavazza at a local coffee house in Denver and really enjoyed the taste. No bitterness at all. Very full flavored coffee.
I came across this as the word “Crema” caught my eye. Now I am ordering it using the subscribe and save. It is running me $17.41 for every order and that’s with free 2 day shipping because of the Prime Membership.
Each brick lasts about 10 days for 2 people drinking 6 cups of coffee every morning. I use 1 tablespoon coffee for every 6 ounces of water brewed in a Target Michael Graves design automatic drip coffeemaker. The “Flavor” button really brings it out in this coffee. I love my coffee with half and half and it really seems to compliment it well.
The packages are vacuumed sealed and take up very little space. It really is a 5 star coffee.

I purchased this along with the espresso in the can.
I’ve mixed the two in equal amounts.
We’re very pleased with the coffee.
It’s not bitter or acidic, but still rich tasting.

We have a semi-automatic espresso maker and this is what goes in it. Amazing flavor, no bitter undertones at all, beats the local coffee houses’ espresso (which was unexpected for pre-ground). 5 stars!
