Juicy with herbal blackberry notes and tea-like flavors, this is a coffee unlike any African single-origin offering weve ever tasted. The microclimate of Burundis rugged Kayanza Ridge is an ideal setting for farmers to grow this amazing coffee. Each farmer tends a small patch of just 50 to 250 coffee trees, making this a truly rare and special bean.

Horaayy..there are 38 comment(s) for me so far ;)
@snoopyflick re Fairtrade what do you suggest, who will implement it, how, and why?
@TheThirdKing Starbucks isn’t the worse out there, and they have made people step up their game, they still aren’t making great coffee, even good coffee at stores. Their coffee isn’t burnt, it’s stale, and fairtrade isn’t a good system for coffee, nor nearly as good for farmer as when people buy high quality coffee.
I can’t believe how much a Cup o’ Joe costs these days, I’ve been roasting at home, got some good tips from coffeeloverstipsandtricks (.) com
Attention all coffee lovers-I just made a video on coffee- check it out on my channel!
@gamba88 the company sucks so bad? hum would be interested to see the reasoning behind your comment, they do a lot of good by buying only fairtrade coffee, therefore making sure the farmers in inpoverished countries get what they should, also the standard of the coffee in our local Starbucks is far superior to Costa or any other coffee shop around, my opinion.
I heard of These new ice cream cakes these are delicious! Low calories to!
The coffee sucks, or the company?
MUM
lame this company sucks so bad now
But they’re still doing it, aren’t they? =]
i got it as my markout till we ran out now i have a small reserve.
Great Coffee :) I get it as my markout usally
lol so i see whats going on here, starbucks is helping out a nation make an income. thats nie and all but thats just a good thing they can say on there website that will impress some nice rich old lady, and make her start buying coffee there
Heh, reminds me of Eddie Izzard:
If the President of Burundi says, “Would you like a cup of coffee,” you’re not supposed to go, “Oh, I’m in here!”
Yeah, yeah, but FOLGERS, baby. FOLGERS!!!
(I’m kidding, of course. Great video. I live nearby. I’m coming in soon…)
I don’t even like coffee and this is fucking amazing.
@TheRealDannyE you dont have to, try it… i always do but you dont have to.
@TheDpage1 You, sir, are wrong.
I would love nothing more than to smash that annoying cunt’s face on his own beloved coffee machine.
bet he would treat his girlfriend/wife really good if he has that much respect for coffee
Surely 1 +1/2 to 2 oz equals a double espresso not a single espresso shot ?
I didn’t know that making a perfect espresso takes so much knowledge. It’s shown here in the most classy way possible; I’m literally dripping over my keyboard! Italy in Chicago!!!
Thank you so much for this enjoyable coffee break :)
Wow. That was a really great video!
dear god I bet that tasted incredible.
Who the fuck dislike this video?
@cstockett05 you actually dont have to tamp it
I really need a tamp
It looks nice, It looks different and it is different and nice indeed.
But in Portugal… well… we just drink coffee like this one all over.
Still, nice short.
I don’t like Kyle. They might serve you very good coffee at Intelligentsia (although they don’t serve Robusta — bad decision), and he is right about almost everything he says (apart from the preheating with water), but the cockiness that comes across here is awful. And why do Americans call it an espresso «shot». That is simply wrong.
why so..like it’s heart surgery or something..?
I’ve had it with Starbucks, I’m home only thanks to coffeeloverstipsandtricks (.) com
nice pictures.
the espresso seems to be a little “lungo”. in Italy you get half of it in your cup and the “crema” looks more homogeneous.
but nice anyway for americans.
pretty pictures, great info
Very interesting info. I’ll keep this in mind next time I get my cappuccino. I also liked the way the video was directed and produced. Job well done on both sides of the camera.
5 Stars!
Very well done! I’ve been to Intelligentsia Silverlake, which was excellent. Now I want to visit the Venice shop too.
i will pay you a visit for sure!
Just had an intro to Barista class at Intelligentsia, Chicago. Thanks for the great video! Well done.
