Loaves’ labor lasts: Harvest Bakery celebrates 70 years
(note anniversary special update) BRISTOL — On Memorial Day in 1941, Louis and Anne Barth opened the doors of Harvest Bakery. Little did they know that seven decades later it would be a fixture in town and one of the few independent bakeries in the area to survive in the modern era.
