Part One in a several part series
Store coffee beans in a glass, air-tight container. Air and moisture are coffee’s biggest enemies. Glass is best because it doesn’t retain the odors of the beans, which can contaminate future beans stored in the same container. A mason jar will work but only if you have a good lid. If you do use glass, please make sure that you do not store the coffee near sunlight. It can definitely reduce the freshness of the coffee.
