Riffs around the clock!

“It helps us choke down these greasy 50′s style fried eggs”

“It helps Sue Grafton start work on C IS FOR COFFEE”

“It provides the president of Cornell with an ashtray”

“Coffee breath ruins the mood”

“A dozen cigarettes with your coffee?”

Ironic, because at the time this film was made (early 1960′s), coffee consumption in the U.S. peaked, then began a three-decade decline, which wasn’t arrested until the rise of Starbucks and the coffeehouse culture in the 1990′s…which re-established coffee drinking in the younger population (even back then they were concerned, illustrated by the episode of MAD MEN where a coffee company worried that baby boomers raised on soda wouldn’t take up coffee drinking).

I must be drinking too much coffee. Every now and then the narrator starts to sound like William Shatner.

I can’t stand coffee or caffeine, yet I’m watching this.
“Water…wind and fire!” xD

This is the funniest of the romeorhino vids, w/the fragrance one coming in a close second. I come back to this one every couple of months. Tonight it is particularly funny, but perhaps that’s because of the spiked egg nog I’m drinking.

Does this have any relevance anymore? I mean, does anyone make their own coffee like this?

Jesus, did people back then have no idea how to function unless specifically instructed by a forceful disembodied voice?

Is this narrated by Dick Clark? It sounds like his voice.
