its more like a cinnamon flavor stick.. they do put it in.. if u dont have that it wont taste like pho.. i know bc i thought the same thing too.. and then i try without the stick.. it taste bland

@walkmaker312 I am Vietnamese too and yes, they do put cinnamon in Pho. I know a lot of Vietnamese restaurants that put this ingredients in their pho’s broth.

You do too put cinnamon in Pho. It’s the type in the form of bark and you toast it with other herbs to make it smell good.
