Being a child of the ’80s I’m nostalgic for the Commodore company, but not for the design of their flagship product. I’d rather they produced a line of desktops and laptops under the Commodore name rather than throw netbook technology into a retro keyboard.

@iansuderman You are totally misinformed, the C64x is just an atom netbook motherboard inside a novelty case. It will not run AmigaOS/MorphOS which are both PPC based OSes.

@Paperclown I think you are completely right. I don’t think I would trust this CommodoreUSA company. I heard someone somewhere recently say that it’s owner/CEO/whatever has done some very shifty business in the past and has not exactly the best of reps with the Better Business Bureau. Do you know anything about that?

@WinstonSmith6079: The only thing they did purchase the licensing rights for the C= name, order custom case molds and slap stickers on them. They dont even do the computers, Cybernet does them (a totally different company) that has been doing these keyboard computers for years. CUSA didn’t even change the case for their flagship Vic line, that computer has been out for 3 years from Cybernet …. all they did give you a sticker, a copy of linux, and some emulators.

Their “Amiga” line is a joke
