Recipe here: www.joyofbaking.com Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Tiramisu. Tiramisu means “pick me up” or “carry me up”, which probably refers to the jolt you get after eating espresso and alcohol laced ladyfingers. It is often called an ‘Italian Trifle” because, like any trifle, it has layers. In this case, ladyfingers (finger-shaped cookies) are layered with a custard that has been mixed with mascarpone cheese.

Soda bread is one of the simplest breads to make as it requires no yeast, proving or kneading. In the second of four St. Patrick’s Day recipes Chef Diane explains the wonders of Irish Soda Bread. www.sdnn.com www.sdnn.com

Thank you. I have no yeast. I am eager to make something. I have some King Arthur Whole Wheat Flour. What can i make with this alone? Can I make some rolls with this? I have some peanut butter too. Is it possible to make some peanut butter bread or something?

Yank. I knew she was a yank. Close to the my Granny’s bread but unless the recipe is measured in cups, fishts and pinches then it’s never gonna be right. And just for anyone who wants to try it, butter milk was always too expensive so you use normal milk with a bit of vinegar to sour it.
