@GoldieGlitters It’s unlikely that you’d have very good results with a blender… depending on the type of machine you have, you’d risk overworking the motor. If you have access to a single-serving style blender (like a Magic Bullet) you may be able to use that instead of a food processor, with a little extra patience. What you could try in your blender is adding a little water … it will turn out more like a fudge (or a pudding if you add too much) but will still taste delish.
these were so awesome! i only had 1/4c of walnuts so i used 3/4c of pecans with it and it still tasted great. my dad (who’s very against my vegan diet and is a stubborn omnivore) LOVED them and said they were better than baked brownies :)
thanks so much for this video!
i think i’m going to try and make them tonight, but i was wondering if it was okay if i used dried prunes instead of dates. thanks!
@cuteraz18 Sorry, you do need nuts to make this work. You can also use raw cashews, macadamia nuts and/or almonds … the flavor and texture will be slightly different, but they are still really good. Thanks for checking out the recipe!
wow those look great! and so easy to make! but just one thing, will you be able to make them without the walnuts…i don’t have any at home and i am only 12 so i can’t go to the market and buy them : any way thanks for this amazing recipe!
Horaayy..there are 25 comment(s) for me so far ;)

Will this work with a BLENDER? I don’t have a food processor and I can’t afford to purchase one at the moment. PLEASE RESPOND. Thanks!
This looks so amazing! I know I will love this but I hope our kids like them too so they stop asking for the store bought mix.

@superfoodswithjules We don’t have medjool dates where we live, is there anything other stuff I can use??
Is this recipe diabetes friendly? I am concerned with the dates as a sweetner. Thanks

This recipe is way better with a mix of pecans, raw cashews and walnuts! Plus I add some organic vanilla powder. Best desert I have ever tasted!
