This is NOT a coffee Cake! its just a plane cake with a vanilla icing topping.

1 Question : Ware is the coffee????

if you want to follow this poor quality non coffee cake video:
try mixing in a table spoon of instant coffee in with the cake mix.. you should also mix half a table spoon of instant coffee in with you icing …. drop the common or put it in the cake mix also…

In the USA, when we say “coffee cake” or “coffeecake” all one word- we usually mean it is a cake which we eat WHILE we drink coffee! One can have “cinnamon coffee cake” or “pineapple coffee cake”. Somehow, to us it makes sense.

I was rather confused for a while. I thought maybe you’d missed out the coffee. Then I realised that Coffee Cake in the US is not the same as in the UK. Here, Coffee Cake is a cake flavoured with coffee. So, when I saw there was no coffee in this recipe, I was all “Whaaat?”. Haha.

I’m dumb :P

she made a mistake.. your suppose to do cinnamon then vanilla otherwise the cinnamon will stick on the vanilla extract.
