No latte art? What’s the point of steaming your milk, when you can’t even produce thick foam and latte art?

thank you.

and yet people downrated my comment. I would be pissed if i drank that cowpiss and they tried to pass it off as “gourmet” hot chocolate.

these people on here probably think Carl’s Jr. crisscut fries are gourmet too. *sigh*

@shakaama i was laughing at the former comment, because my aunt is a gourmet chef and the place that she works at serves hot chocolate that u make from real chocolate. she saw this video and laughed because this woman is trying to pass of Fancy Hersheys Syrup and milk as hot chocolate when it really just warm chocolate milk

@SmilingEyes79 just to let you know what gourmet hot chocolate is. I make myself.

I buy Girrandelli [sp] 75% cacao chocolate. I put it on a double boiler and melt it down. I add whole milk. simmer it for another 5 minutes.

THAT is gourmet hot chocolate. Not no cheap chocolate syrup. If people are going to use English, I expect them to use the right words.

Gourmet, means someone that is EXTREMELY picky and wants only the best ingredients, not no ghetto trash that gets stuff out a can.

@SmilingEyes79 ghiaradelli makes the worlds best chocolate and yes, that’s how you make hot chocolate. As a restaurant it should be nothing to have melted chocolate simmering every day. a real gourmet restaurant would do that. this is ridiculous that they would try and pass this off as gourmet.

And by the way, i did just that after watching about 20 videos and reading a few recipes, they all called for melting chocolate in a double boiler. best hot chocolate i’ve ever had.
