Killing time while our flight was delayed due to the fuel strike we went to the Indian Coffee House in Trivandrum (these are all over India and are run by local co-operatives) & I used the opportunity to talk my way into the kitchen & photograph their staff there.

BTW: they do great southern style fish biriyani !

We stopped for coffee at a locals house on the way out from the waterfall on the jeep tour. I imagine for most people at the resort this would have been their only look at how normal Cubans live.

As always the coffee was very good!

Juke box zero!

Me on the old juke box at the then Espresso Bar (E Bar), just south of Colorado Blvd in an alley between Raymond and the train tracks, in what use to be old rundown Pasadena, as opposed to the new, Old Town Pasadena in California. Best coffee house ever! Juke box really played and the place was only accesable through an unmarked door in the alley. Good memories, too bad it’s gone.
