After having had some dinner (and of course wine) we retired for bed – but not before picking up breakfast. We were due to be picked up at 7:15 the following morning – way before the hotel breakfast started so we were given a big tray full of bread, jams, strange fruit compote things, and flask of coffee and tea. True by 6am the following morning, the bread would be a little soft, and the coffee more on the warm side rather than piping hot, but I can’t say I was awake enough to care – especially since I sleep appallingly during nights when I know I have to be up early in the morning!

Found this tasty breakfast and lunch joint via the internet. Amazing how much better you can eat on a business trip if you do a little legwork. The coffee was fantastic and the food, well, it was breakfast. Nothing out of the ordinary, but good, hot and fast.
